The Detail King Premium Coating & Wax Applicator (Large) is a great applicator use when applying a Ceramic Coating. Made of super soft microfiber material, this applicator will apply Ceramic Coatings or wax/sealant with ease and without the worry of scratches or swirls! Available in 1, 6, & 12 pack sizes.
Microfiber applicators make coating product application easier, quicker and more efficient, but coatings typically have a lower viscosity (not as thick - flow easier) so they soak through the microfiber to the sponge, wasting valuable product.
This applicator has a layer of a hydrophobic material between the microfiber and sponge which prevents excess coating product from soaking through the microfiber into the car wash sponge. It also limits excess product buildup which can become gummy and tacky as the coating begins to cure.
